Don't be afraid of COLOR

Now it's true, you may want to stay neutral when you invest in big pieces of furniture and flooring, because you can't afford to get sick of it after only a few years. But adding color through accessories and paint is the way to go. So when you do get tired of that particular color, you can change the wall color and accessories and have a brand new room for not much money. So go for it! No more white walls!

A few tips when choosing wall color:
1.Light or Dark? Light colors will make your room look larger, where dark colors will make your room look smaller.
2.Cool or Warm? If you have a sunny room, one facing the south, a cool color would would make the room feel cooler. If you have a north-facing room, a warm color would make the room feel sunnier.
3.Bright or Muted? You may want to stay away from bright colors in your bedroom since you use that room to relax and sleep. Muted colors give a more cozy feel.

Any color you choose should depend on what speaks to you. What colors do you like? What mood do you want to portray? How do you want the room to make you feel? And don't forget the ceiling. It doesn't have to stay white.
